Todos los Bitcoineros deberían haber oído hablar ya de la Lightning Network y estar familiarizados con el concepto de "Capa 2". Pero aparte de Lightning Network: ¿qué otras soluciones de Capa 2 existen en Bitcoin? Una de las soluciones más estudiadas y versátiles es Liquid.

En este meetup, Adolfo Contreras de Blockstream nos dará una introducción a Liquid, su arquitectura, y profundizará en sus avanzadas capacidades financieras. En la segunda parte, Kilian de Boltz hablará sobre el ahorro de comisiones, las funciones avanzadas de privacidad, el ecosistema y las limitaciones de Liquid. Por último, veremos una demostración práctica de algunas cosas que se pueden hacer con Liquid a día de hoy.

Como siempre, a la conclusión del meetup iremos a tomar unas cervezas y algo de picar en el Mercado San Antón.

A practical guide to Liquid 🌊

Every Bitcoiner should have heard of the Lightning Network by now and many are even familiar with the concept of "Layer 2". But apart from the Lightning Network, which other Layer 2 solutions exist on Bitcoin today? One of the most mature and versatile solutions is the Liquid Network.

In today's meetup, we'll have Adolfo Contreras from Blockstream giving us an introduction to Liquid and it's architecture, expanding on its advanced financial capabilities. In the second part, Kilian from Boltz will touch on fee savings, advanced privacy features, the ecosystem and the limitations of Liquid. Finally, we'll see a hands-on demo of some things that you can do with Liquid today.

As always, we'll go for some beers n bites after the meetup in Mercado San Anton.
